  1. How long does it take to build a Darling Contruction Home?
    Our complete DarCon Home package includes financial advice, home design, lot selection, and positioning of the new home on the lot. The average home takes 9 weeks to build once the carpenters begin their work.


  2. What about costs? Guaranteed pricing?
    Our basic home plan costs start at only $89.95 per sq ft. This price includes the foundation, all utility hookups and all labour/material to provide you with a completed home. Once we have formally quoted your particular home and a contract is signed, the price is guaranteed. No surprises!


  3. Your price includes the excavation and foundation!!!
    Yes unlike a modular home, our homes provide everything from BELOW the ground and up. No surprises!


  4. Can I design my new home?
    You have total control over the design of your new home. We have thousands of home plans and the experience to advise you when required, but the final decision is yours. Darling Construction can build all shapes and styles of homes, big or small.


  5. Is financing any different with Darling Construction?
    We believe that your best bottom line cost is only achieved by taking advantage of all savings available. We not only provide the best value for your construction dollars, but also work constantly to keep abreast of bank rates and promotions, GE or CMHC rates, savings in land registration fees, plus government incentive programs and rebates. Awareness of these financial matters can save you tens of thousands of dollars.

    All DarCon Homes are guaranteed under the 7 Year Atlantic New Home Warranty program and backed by our quality control and service.

    One of the many advantages of new construction over existing homes is the ability to design and decorate to your personal taste. You choose colours of roofing, siding and shutters. You choose the type of wood and finish for cupboards and flooring. You choose colours of paint and flooring. You choose light fixtures, plumbing fixtures and all options available.
